Your First Visit
When you arrive, our friendly staff will greet you and make you feel welcome. Then you’ll meet with your chiropractor, who will sit down and discuss your health history with you. Our doctors are great listeners, and they let you tell your story in your own words so they understand what’s going on with your body, and how it is affecting your life.
Then they’ll conduct a thorough examination, which will include both X-rays and cone beam computed tomography, which gives us 3D images of your spine. This visit will take between 45 minutes and an hour.
Second & Regualr Visits
Before your next visit, we will analyze your images and do precise mathematical calculations to devise the appropriate angle of adjustment. When you come in for your second visit (usually a day or two after your first), we will go over our complete report of findings and explain what we found and how it is contributing to your particular symptoms.
We’ll offer our recommendations for your care, including the costs, and answer all of your questions. If you’re ready to begin, we will do your first Atlas correction at this visit. We’ll then take new images to ensure that the proper degree of correction has been made. Plan on about 45 minutes for this visit. Your ongoing visits will be approximately 15 minutes.
Full Spine Care
Although we specialize in Atlas Orthogonal upper cervical work, we address your entire spine to ensure all of the joints are properly mobilized. All of our techniques are non-force methods that rely on gentle waves of energy to move the joints without the discomfort caused when your muscles tense up in anticipation of a forceful adjustment (called guarding.)
